What Ever Happened
To Hip Hop
Back in April of 2009 I was contacted by Jonathan from an upcoming documentary called 'What Ever Happened To Hip Hop?' asking if I was interested in producing a series of paintings of Hip Hop Legends.
Because I was mid-way through my final uni project at the time, I didn't have much time to spare. So I agreed to paint 4 of the Legends that he had requested; Biggie, Tupac, Kanye West and Public Enemy. Not in my usual style, I liked how the four images work together and decided to add vibrant backgrounds.
