Star Wars | Digital Painting

Star Wars

Digital Painting

Sci-fi

After showing a few friends some of my early digital paintings, they said that I should paint some of the classic Sci-Fi characters. At the time I wasn't that well up on classic Sci-Fi so they sent me a few iconic images that would make interesting paintings.

Color!

This painting from the Star Wars was my first color digital painting. I began with Han Solo and spent about 3 hours just on his face. When I realised that I could do the same things in color that I had achieved in black and white, I quickly painted in the rest. The most difficult part to paint was the creases in the clothing and Princess Leia's hand.
