This painting was an exercise to see if I could paint semi real looking paintings with a series of scribbles and patterns. From a distance the painting comes together really well, yet up close the details are just very untidy. I tried to use greens and red highlights when-ever possible to give the image more life.
I chose this image because I was excited about seeing Terminator Salvation and really liked the lighting of this close up image of Christian Bale as John Connor.
