This illustration was intended to establish the vulnerability of the female lead. It proved difficult to gather reference for this piece mainly due to me not taking into consideration the eye-line of the male character in comparison to the female. This lead to me capturing the bottom section of his face instead of the storyboarded full face.
The graffiti was a nice touch that just happened to be on the phone box I decided to use. I tried to convey how dirty the phone box was by having a street light highlight grease on the glass.
