This is another image that was based on a photograph I captured when location scouting in Manchester. I really liked how this dark alley had a very brightly light section at the end. I thought it would be perfect for placing the femalee character.
The blue and red highlights came from a neon sign that was half way down the alley. To emphasise the female figure I excluded a doorway in the final illustration.
On the right you can see the original storyboard sketch this illustration is based on.
